Ohhh Tooth Fairy, Elizabeth has lost a tooth! She is hesitant to put her tooth under her pillow, she wants to keep it. Maybe you could let her keep this one!
October is Fire Safety month. The volunteer fire department came to our school on Friday October 14th.
Below you will see their favorite part of the day, THE FIRE HOSE! Each student was able to spray water, and they loved it!
They were also able to walk through the fire trucks and even sit in the drivers seat.
This is a thermal imaging camera, firefighters use this to see people when it is too smoky to see with our eyes.
The students walked around the fire trucks and learned about the hoses, ladders, switches, and axes.
Uriah was able to try on parts of the suit. The total weight of a suit is 50 pounds. Mr. tough guy thought it was pretty heavy!
The kids listened to Danny Signer talk about what to do if you are in a fire.
Thank you to all of the volunteer firefighters in our area for keeping us safe! Also, a big thanks to the group that volunteered their day to teach us about fire safety.
Our first official field trip was to Apple Jack Pumpkin Patch. The kids loved the hayrack ride to the patch, and were able to pick out their favorite pumpkin! Afterwards we enjoyed all of the fun activities: train ride, hill slides, zip line, duck racing, jumbo pillow jumpoline, playground, and corn pit.
