BUILD YOUR WILD SELF

Today I showed the kids our class blog and the games on the left side. One of the games I have a link for is BUILD YOUR WILD SELF. So today, the kids decided to build Mrs. Haag's WILD SELF! Here it is, they had fun with it. There are many educational, or just fun sites that I have linked on the side of the blog. If you get a chance let your child play around with it, I guarantee they will love it!

Letter T - Turtles

Today we worked on identifying and making the sound for the letter T. Also worked on writing Tt. Here is Elizabeth showcasing our artwork from today. It's a T - Turtle! The kids enjoyed getting the scissors and glue out. We really did a great job with step by step directions, and our cutting skills are AWESOME!

Learning Centers

This kids had been asking for several days, when can we play with all the stuff. It's tough coming into Kindergarten from Preschool. Work begins becoming more involved, and if we work hard we can find some time to play hard. In my class, even though it looks like they may be playing, everything has a purpose!

PJ and Corey using play dough for fine motor skill growth.

Christian and Dalia using Tag readers to investigate about animals.

Sawyer learning about magnifying glasses.

Traten and Ethan in the art center being creative and learning about shapes.

Christian lost a TOOTH!

There was excitement in the air! Christian lost a tooth! He wiggled on it all day, and when it came the kids huddled around to see just what had happened! I like the tongue through the missing spot! So cute!

My Pride and Joy

For those of you who are new to the district, or just want to know a little more about me, here goes. I am Mrs. Megan Haag, mother of these two cute munchkins; Macy and Trent. My two children amaze me each day. Macy is little miss outgoing, and feels the need to be everyones friend. Trent is my charasmatic, fun loving, silly boy.

Chris, better known as Mr. Haag, is my husband. You will find out in PE why I love this man so much. He has a way of making life fun, I see this side of him in PE being silly and crazy with the kids. But there is also a serious side to him that keeps us grounded. He has a way of connecting with students to make them feel like they are the most important person in the room. This must be how he captivates me.

My third favorite thing is photography. I use to run a small photography business, I found it too dificult to keep up with that and my full time job and family. So now, I mainly photograph my children and adopted students. I hope to share photos on here of our class and some of the current projects and activities.
