New Donation to Class

I got news this morning that I had another project funded through DonorsChoose.org . When school starts we will receive twenty take home folders and twenty library book protectors. I'm so excited! It's always nice to stay organized, and I love that you can see through these pouches. Also, for this next year, we will get a subscription to Time for Kids magazine. Each student will get their own to read and take home. I won this grant at the end of last year, for 2011-2012 school year.

I've got the School Supply Fever!

It happens every year come mid July. I'm on a regular grocery trip, and whammo! I've hit the mother load of school supplies! I just can't resist. It's just a dollar! Here are a few of my finds from the last couple of trips to town. Every teacher loves containers and tubs, I have a thousand uses for them. I wonder what else I will find before school starts? I'm sure I have a few more shopping trips ahead of me. You'll have to wait and see. When I have the classroom ready I will post a few pictures. Looking forward to sharing it with you.
