Dr. Dave and Dr. Kate came to visit us in November, along with their dog Jack. The kids were able to learn about the job of a veterinarian. They looked at x-rays, listened to Jack's heart, played dress up, and much more.

October
In the Month of October we were able to visit Walter's Pumpkin Patch. The kids really enjoyed going down the underground slide, jumping on a giant balloon, and swinging on the log swing. Mrs. Galvan and myself really enjoyed the log swing too. At one point I think we had all 26 kids and two teachers on it. What fun! Pictures to come, once I get them off my personal camera.
In our animal science unit, we made bird feeds. It was a mess, but it was fun. Afterwards we put our bird feeders infront of the school, for the birds to enjoy.

100th day of school
Okay, I know this is horrible. It is the 100th day of school, and I haven't posted since the beginning of school. Most of my pictures are on my personal camera, that is at home. But now we have a new classroom camera we received from Donors Choose Foundation. So I will give a recap of some activities in the coming blog posts.
AS FOR TODAY! HOORAY WE MADE IT, IT'S THE 100TH DAY!!!!!
It was a day filled with all things 100. Counting by 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's to 100. We changed our tens chart to read 100 days. We also made a Fruit Loop necklace with 100 pieces of cereal. They were mostly all eaten up by Math time. So if you didn't see that come home, it was just too tempting to eat. Today, we also made journals with 100 words we know. The first 8 were this weeks spelling words, and the rest were sight words we have worked on this year. So many other things were accomplished today. I can't list them all, but I can tell you we had a GREAT day.
