Book Club Online ordering

I had a parent ask me if they could order from bookclubs online. I'm not sure if it ships to the school or if it ships directly to you. I guess if you put your shipping information in, then it will most likely ship to you. Below is the link to the login page. Our username is "westelk1" and our password is "scholastic". For every order placed a book is donated to our class.

Winter Wonderland

The kids had MAGIC in their eyes this morning. It's SNOWING Mrs. Haag, IT'S SNOWING! They thought we would go play in the snow for recess. I sadly told them no. But it was the topic of the morning so I gave in and let them catch snowflakes on the sidewalk.

Halloween

The party was FANTASTIC! Especially the snacks. Trust me, they were as YUMMY as they look! I didn't get a picture of the brew Suzie made for our drink, but the kids loved the steam effect coming off the top. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents that helped make this such a wonderful party.

Now, the moment you have waited for. The COSTUMES! What fun!

Pumpkin Patch

Rain, Rain, Go Away, Come Again Another DAY!!! To bad we didn't have another day! But for what it was, it was a pretty fun day. The kids walked in the sprinkles a little, but Walters Pumpkin Patch had some areas they could play and be under cover. They also received a nice educational lesson on the life cycle of a pumpkin, as well as different types of pumpkins. He called it PUMPKINOLOGY.

Just a reminder: Our trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Burns, KS is on Thursday. Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope the rain doesn't get the best of us. We are really looking forward to going! Please make sure your child has their entrance fee of $5 by Wednesday. Thanks
